Sometimes, you don’t need to escape life. You need space to hear yourself again.
Daily responsibilities, leadership pressure, caregiving and constant digital noise can leave little room to pause. Dive2Heal creates a guided environment where participants can slow down, enter the water and reconnect with breath, body and the present moment.
Too much noise
A constant stream of responsibilities, information and expectations.
Carrying too much
The mental and emotional weight of work, leadership, family and daily life.
Disconnected from yourself
Moving continuously without enough time to notice what is happening within.
The water does not solve everything. But it can create a different kind of space.
More than a scuba session.
Dive2Heal is a structured wellness journey before, during and after the water. Scuba becomes the environment; breath, buoyancy, awareness, reflection and connection shape the experience.
No previous scuba certification is required for approved beginner sessions.
Scuba Experience
Equipment familiarisation, breathing, buoyancy and controlled underwater movement.

Why Dive2Heal exists.
Dive2Heal was created from a deeply personal belief: the water can give people a different space to breathe, notice and reconnect.
Founded by Dr Arieffahmi Abd Razak — Founder and Chairman of Mafar Group, former medical doctor, mental-health advocate, scuba divemaster and bipolar survivor — Dive2Heal brings together lived experience, community building and a lifelong connection with the ocean.
What began as a personal journey is now being developed into a structured wellness platform for individuals, leaders, organisations and communities.
Dive Deeper. Heal Together.
Safety and choice come first.
- Dive2Heal is a wellness, reflection and community experience. It is not psychotherapy, psychiatric care, medical treatment or crisis intervention.
- All water activities take place under the guidance of certified dive professionals and according to the dive operator’s safety procedures.
- Participants complete the dive operator’s standard medical-screening process before entering the water.
- Some medical conditions or medications may require individual physician clearance. A diagnosis alone does not automatically exclude someone.
- Never stop or change prescribed medication to participate.
- Personal sharing is always optional.
- If you are currently in crisis or require immediate clinical support, contact an appropriate healthcare professional or local emergency service.

Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked
Do I need scuba-diving experience?+
No. Beginners are guided through equipment familiarisation, breathing and controlled pool activities within the programme’s approved beginner scope.
Do I need a scuba certification?+
No certification is required for approved beginner sessions. Completing a pool session does not by itself grant a scuba certification.
Do I need to know how to swim?+
Water confidence helps. Any specific requirement is confirmed as part of booking and pre-session screening — ask us if you’re unsure.
Is Dive2Heal therapy?+
No. Dive2Heal is a wellness, reflection and community experience — not psychotherapy, psychiatric care, medical treatment or crisis intervention.
Is Dive2Heal suitable for someone with a mental-health diagnosis?+
A diagnosis alone does not exclude you. Whether you can take part in the water is determined through the dive operator’s standard safety and medical-screening process.
Can I participate while taking medication?+
Possibly — some medications may require individual clearance. Never stop or change your medication to take part; share details privately during screening and we’ll explain the next step.
What medical screening is required?+
You complete the dive operator’s standard, private medical questionnaire before entering the water. Some conditions may require physician clearance.
Must I share something personal?+
No. Participation in any personal sharing is always optional.
What happens during the reflection session?+
A guided wellness module and personal reflection, with an optional small-group conversation.
Can certified divers join?+
Yes. Certified divers experience scuba through the Dive2Heal reflection and wellness framework.
Can I join alone?+

What should I bring?+
Swimwear, a towel, a change of clothes and a refillable water bottle. Certified divers should bring their certification card.
How deep is the pool?+
All activities take place in a controlled training pool. We’ll confirm the specifics with you before your session.
What is included in the RM550 fee?+
The four-hour guided programme: the pool experience, the wellness and reflection module, all scuba equipment and the closing debrief.
How does the RM385 deposit work?+
A 70% deposit (RM385) secures your place and counts toward the RM550 fee; the RM165 balance follows.
Can I reschedule or cancel?+
Please see our cancellation and rescheduling terms, or contact us and we’ll help.
Can I arrange a private group?+
Yes — request a private session and we’ll design it around your group.
