Frequently asked
I've never tried scuba diving. Where should I start?+
Start with a guided pool session. It's a safe, shallow, instructor-led first breath underwater — no experience and no equipment of your own needed. From there you can continue to a PADI Open Water certification whenever you're ready.
Can non-divers join the island journeys?+
Many of our journeys welcome everyone, including first-timers — each experience page states its certification requirement clearly. Themed trips like Dive with Doctors and Dive with Survivors are open to everyone; you don't need to belong to the featured profession or community to join unless that specific experience says otherwise.
What equipment is included?+
Guided experiences provide the scuba equipment you need. Every trip page lists exactly what's included (and anything to bring) under its inclusions — check the specific experience before you book.
How much deposit is required?+
Each experience sets its own deposit, shown on the trip page and at checkout (for example, many island trips take a deposit of part of the total to secure your place, with the balance due before departure). The exact amount and what the price covers are always shown on the experience page.
What's the difference between Divologist and Dive2Heal?+
One ocean, two journeys. Divologist opens the door to diving — discovery, PADI certifications, island journeys, community and expeditions. Dive2Heal takes the experience deeper within: guided mental-wellness sessions using mindful breathing, weightlessness and facilitated reflection.
Is Dive2Heal medical treatment?+
No. Dive2Heal programs are wellness experiences, not medical treatment or a substitute for professional mental-health care.
What happens if weather affects a trip?+
Diving is weather-dependent and safety always comes first. If a trip cannot proceed, we'll prioritise a replacement date or carry-forward credit under the Booking Changes Policy.
Do I need Divo+ to book an experience?+
No. Public trips and pool sessions are open to everyone. Divo+ (RM99/year) simply adds member pricing, members-only Divo Series expeditions, 2× loyalty points and early access on top.
