About this journey
Start or progress your diving journey with internationally recognised PADI certifications, run by Divologist all year round. Pathway: Open Water Diver → Advanced Open Water → Rescue Diver → Divemaster. Available for individuals, couples, families, groups and corporate teams. Pool sessions at Divertainment Dive Center (Lakeview Club, Subang Jaya); open-water dives at Tioman and beyond.

Before you enrol
- Scuba Tryout: ages 8+, with parental consent, instructor assessment and the applicable programme standards.
- Open Water: beginner pathway; swimming requirements and a medical questionnaire apply; ages 10+ via the Junior or adult pathway (parental consent for minors).
- Advanced Open Water: Open Water Diver or qualifying certification; medical fitness; junior & adult age rules apply.
- Emergency First Response: no scuba certification required; minimum age and delivery follow the programme standards.
- Rescue Diver: applicable prior certification, current CPR & First Aid/EFR, medical fitness; junior & adult age rules apply.
- Divemaster: adult age, Rescue Diver or qualifying certification, current CPR & First Aid, minimum logged dives, medical clearance and an instructor eligibility review.
Participants below the adult-certification age are handled through the appropriate PADI Junior pathway, with parental consent and age-related limitations. Final eligibility is subject to instructor review and the applicable PADI standards.
Safety
Every course begins with a standard diver medical questionnaire and an honest health declaration; a physician's clearance may be required depending on your answers. Training follows an instructor-led safety briefing, course-specific swimming requirements, and weather and sea-condition assessment. Age and junior-certification restrictions apply per course.

Additional training
The package covers the standard scheduled course duration. Certification is awarded only after all performance requirements are completed. If additional training, dives, accommodation, ferry arrangements or instructor time are required, additional charges will apply and will be explained before the extra training is arranged.
Cancellation & rescheduling
All payments are non-refundable. If you're unable to attend your original intake, a rescheduling arrangement may be made within 12 months of the original booking — subject to availability, the Tioman operating season (March–November), instructor confirmation and any applicable fare or package-price difference.

Which diving course should I start with?+
Complete beginners start with the Open Water Diver course (or a Scuba Tryout first). Certified divers continue with Advanced, then Rescue and Divemaster.
Can a complete beginner join?+
Yes — the Open Water Diver course is designed for beginners and needs no prior certification.
What is the minimum age?+
Scuba Tryout is from 8+; certification pathways start at 10+ via the Junior or adult pathway. Age rules differ per course — see each course.
What is the Scuba Tryout Experience?+
A guided introductory underwater experience (no certification), for ages 8 and above, subject to parental consent, instructor assessment and the applicable programme standards.
What is a Junior Open Water certification?+
Younger divers (from age 10) certify through PADI's Junior pathway, which carries age-related depth and supervision limitations and requires parental consent.

Where does the training take place?+
Open-water training runs on Tioman Island. Any theory or confined-water sessions are arranged separately where applicable.

Is EFR required before Rescue Diver?+
Rescue Diver requires current CPR and First Aid training, such as Emergency First Response. We'll confirm your status before enrolment.
What are the Divemaster requirements?+
Rescue Diver (or qualifying certification), current CPR and First Aid, minimum logged dives, medical clearance and an instructor eligibility review. Entry is by assessment.
Can families join?+
Yes — families can join, with the age and junior-pathway rules applied per participant.
Can corporate or private groups arrange an intake?+
Yes — talk to our team to arrange a private or corporate intake.
Can divers certified by another agency enrol?+
Yes — divers with a qualifying certification from another recognised agency can usually continue. We'll confirm your level first.
What happens after I pay?+
You'll receive your booking confirmation, PADI eLearning access, the diver medical questionnaire, and onboarding details including packing, ferry and accommodation guidance.
